Hi all,
I am Donald C. Burney, also known as "Servant Covenant" (Isaiah 49:8)" on this discussion board.
I was baptized as one of Jehovah's Witnesses on Saturday, May 18th, 1968 at the age of 15 at the Circuit Assembly in Starke, Florida, while in the 9th grade in school at Amos P. Godby High School, in Tallahassee, Florida.
As pointed out in the video shown in the first post above, the answer to the question posed above would be CT Russell taught and believed Jesus Christ began his enthroned, "kingly" invisible "presence" or [Greek] "parousia" in the year of 1874.
Of course we know, Jehovah's Witnesses today do not believe this, but believe this event began in 1914, and would run up till Armageddon. But still, this unique situation does present to us today, a very sobering, pivotal question. And that is,
QUESTION: Can We Simply Say . . . Conclusively, The Watchtower Society Is A False Religion???
This is an interesting question, for the YORWW Congregation.
If it is not a true religion, it is a false religion. There is no middle ground.
If it is a false religion, then how can it be exempt from being called, labeled or seriously considered to be Wicked "Babylon The Great" of our modern times. (See Revelation 18:4.)
For example let's consider this vital question:

Keep in mind, the above heading actually speaks of an INVISIBLE PRESENCE of Christ, as believed and taught by CT Russell . . . from 1874 thru 1914, some 40 Years. (Then, Armageddon is supposed to occur. But, it didn't.)
The video above, convinces us of that fact, that they [Watchtower Society & Governing Body] are false, unrepentant prophets pure and simple, speaking indeed in the "Name Of God"! (See Deuteronomy 18:20-22.)
Thus, the Watchtower Society, from its inception and beginning, is a "false [prophet]" religion and is surely destined to Godly destruction, as "Babylon The Great"! (See Revelation 18:4; Revelation 19:20; Revelation 21:8; Revelation 22:15.)
Remember, they never repented of their big 1914 Lie!
. . . a lie, told way back over 150 years ago, with NO REPENTANCE in sight, till this day.
Think about it.
